Pete & Nicola met on July 16th 2010 - thanks to Pete's great record keeping for that exactitude - but really connected while on a 'Peer 2 Peer' workshop hosted by Worthing Chamber of Commerce.  Both were making big changes in their businesses and they hit it off immediately.

Monthly lunches followed interspersed with the odd business networking event and they discovered a mutual love of business, personal development, Shoreham-By-Sea, software, scifi and good food & wine.

Nicola introduced Pete to the joys of pub Poker just in time for lockdown (they had just three games out in the big wide world, two of which Pete won!).  They carried on playing and chatting online on Wednesday nights and the idea to start recording those conversations occurred.  The 'Poke It' Podcast was born!
